GAMING EVENT



Embark on an exhilarating journey into tech and excitement at the Youth Gaming Expo a collaboration between Blacks in Technology, Thirsty Minds, and DFW Metro NAACP, showcased at the 10th Anniversary Denton Black Film Festival! Join us for a day of gaming enlightenment with industry leaders from Xbox, Gearbox Entertainment, Epic Games, and Robot Entertainment. Discover the latest from indie developers at ATX Game Makers, and for ages 10 to 18, compete in thrilling tournaments for cash prizes in Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart Deluxe 8, and Street Fighter 6. Virtual Career Fair



The Blacks In Technology and Techqueria career fair series makes it easy for companies seeking diverse technical talent. Our goal is to help you stand out from the crowd and to shine a spotlight on Black and Latinx talent. Whether you’re looking for your first job in tech, or you’re a seasoned tech veteran exploring options, we’ll place you in direct contact with organizations who are making a deliberate effort to add diversity to their teams. These career fairs are free to join for Blacks In Technology and Techqueria members.



Tech community



BIT brings together some of the best developers, brands, marketers, technology providers, designers, and innovators looking to set the pace in our advanced world of technology. Our networking events are designed to bring community stakeholders, technologists and organizations together in a safe and productive environment. Interact with technology enthusiasts, build your network or reunite with your peers. We showcase the next generation of advances in technology & innovation, including; Internet, Mobile, AdTech, MarTech, MedTech and various other technologies.



Training and scholarships



Technology jobs are high paying and in demand. It is never too late to transition to a career in the technology industry. There are a number of resources available from online training, to hands on intensive immersive learning programs. Through our relationships, the BIT Foundation offers discounts on technical training, We offer virtual and in-person technology career training sessions available on demand
